Gemini award wining filmmaker Ken Cunningham is in production on a short documentary telling the story of how Peter Mackendrick built a community rink for 12 years as a political statement, how the rink continues due to the dedication and commitment of neighbourhood volunteers and how it has become a memorial to him after his passing in the summer of 2012.
